Abstract
"CABO, GRUPO DE CABOS, E, MéTODO PARA PROJETAR UM CABO". A presente invenção diz respeito a um cabo para uso em uma classe de voltagem predeterminada, o referido cabo compreendendo: um condutor, uma camada isolante circundando o referido condutor, referida camada isolante tendo uma espessura selecionada para prover uma tensão elétrica predeterminada quando o cabo é operado em uma voltagem nominal compreendida na referida classe de voltagem predeterminada, e um elemento protetor ao redor do referido condutor tendo uma espessura e propriedades mecânicas selecionadas para prover uma capacidade predeterminada de resistência a impacto, referido elemento protetor compreendendo pelo menos uma camada polimérica expandida. A espessura da camada isolante e a espessura do elemento protetor são selecionadas em combinação, para minimizar o peso total do cabo, ao mesmo tempo em que impede um dano detectável à camada isolante após impacto de 50 J de energia. A presente invenção ainda diz respeito a um método para projetar um cabo.
