Abstract

"CABO, GRUPO DE CABOS E MéTODO PARA PROJETAR UM CABO". A presente invenção diz respeito a um cabo para o uso em uma classe de voltagem predeterminada, o dito cabo para o uso em uma classe de voltagem predeterminada, o dito cabo compreendendo: - pelo menos um condutor; pelo menos uma camada isolante extrudada circundando o dito condutor, a dita camada isolante sendo fabricada de um material isolante não reticulado compreendendo pelo menos um polímero termoplástico e pelo menos um líquido dielétrico, a dita camada isolante tendo uma espessura tal como para fornecer um gradiente de voltagem na superfície externa da camada isolante do cabo não menor do que 1,0 kV/mm; e - um elemento protetivo em torno da dita camada isolante extrudada tendo uma espessura e propriedades mecânicas selecionadas para fornecer uma capacidade de resistência a impacto predeterminada, o dito elemento protetivo compreendendo pelo menos uma camada polimérica expandida, a dita espessura sendo suficiente para prevenir um dano detectável de camada isolante no impacto de pelo menos 25 J de energia. A espessura da camada isolante e a espessura do elemento protetivo podem ser selecionadas em combinação para minimizar o peso global do cabo enquanto prevenindo um dano detectável de camada isolante no impacto de pelo menos 25 J de energia.
