Abstract

"REVESTIMENTO DE CONVERSãO NãO - CROMO COMPOSTO E MéTODO PARA FORMAR REVESTIMENTO DE CONVERçãO NãO - CROMO". A presente invenção refere-se a um revestimento de conversão não - cromo, composto para uma peça formada de uma liga de alumínio. O revestimento é formado pela provisão de uma primeira solução contendo uma espécie de inibidor anódico, provisão de uma segunda solução contendo uma espécie de inibidor de corrosão catódico, e imersão da peça a ser revestida em uma primeira solução das primeira e segunda soluções e posteriormente em uma segunda solução das primeira e segunda soluções. Espécies adequadas de inibidor anódico incluem tungstatos, permanganatos, vanadatos, molibdatos, e suas misturas. Inibidores de corrosão catódicos, adequados, incluem cobalto, cério, outros elementos lantanídeos e suas misturas. Em uma modalidade, o revestimento de conversão é formado utilizando uma solução contendo cério e uma solução contendo tungstato.
