Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un revestimiento compuesto de conversion sin cromo para una parte formada a partir de una aleacion de aluminio. El revestimiento se forma al proporcionar una primera solucion que contiene una especie inhibidora anodica, proporcionar una segunda solucion que contiene una especie inhibidora de corrosion, catodica, y sumergir la parte que se va revestir en la primera de la primera y segunda soluciones y posteriormente en una segunda de la primera y segunda soluciones. Las especies inhibidoras anodicas adecuadas incluyen tungstatos, permanganatos, vanadatos, molibdatos y mezclas de los mismos. Los inhibidores de corrosion catodicos adecuados incluyen cobalto, cerio, otros elementos de lantanidos y mezclas de los mismos. En una modalidad el revestimiento de conversion se forma usando; una solucion que contiene cerio y una solucion que contiene tungstato.
