Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A OXIDAçãO SELETIVA DE SULFETO DE HIDROGêNIO EM ENXOFRE ELEMENTAR". A invenção é direcionada a um processo para a oxidação seletiva de sulfeto de hidrogênio em enxofre elementar, o dito processo compreendendo a alimentação de um gás contendo sulfeto de hidrogênio a um leito de catalisador, que promove a oxidação seletiva de sulfeto de hidrogênio em enxofre elementar, juntamente com um gás contendo oxigênio, com o que a quantidade de oxigênio na mistura gasosa que deixa o leito de oxidação seletiva é mantida substancialmente constante em um valor preestabelecido, usando um controle de pré-alimentação da quantidade de gás contendo oxigênio a ser alimentado para a oxidação seletiva.
