Abstract
В настоящем изобретении предложен способ для селективного окисления сероводорода в сероводородсодержащем углеводородном и/или водородном сырьевом газе до элементной серы, в котором сероводородсодержащий углеводородный и/или водородный сырьевой газ и газ, содержащий диоксид серы, подают в зону реакции, которая содержит по меньшей мере одну каталитическую зону, в которой находится TiO-содержащий катализатор, в результате чего образуются элементная сера и обеднённый сероводородом газообразный поток, причем TiO-содержащий катализатор по меньшей мере в одной каталитической зоне контактирует с сероводородом и/или диоксидом серы при повышенном давлении и температуре в пределах от 120 и до ниже 160°С и при этих условиях образующаяся элементная сера в основном находится в жидкой форме, причём по крайней мере часть содержащего диоксид серы газа образуется при сгорании элементной серы, в результате чего получают смесь диоксида серы и азота, и смесь диоксида серы концентрируют с целью повышения концентрации диоксида серы.
