Abstract

Настоящее изобретение относится к способу селективного окисления сероводорода до элементарной серы, причем указанный способ включает подачу газа, содержащего сероводород, в слой катализатора, промотирующего селективное окисление сероводорода до элементарной серы, совместно с кислородсодержащим газом, при этом количество кислорода в газовой смеси, выходящей из слоя катализатора селективного окисления, поддерживают на практически постоянном заданном значении с использованием прямого регулирования количества кислородсодержащего газа, подаваемого на селективное окисление.
