Um artigo higiênico 10 inclui uma estrutura absorvente composta de uma folha superior permeável a liquido 11, uma folha traseira impermeável a liquido 12 e um núcleo absorvente a liquido 13 disposto entre os mesmos, um almofadado superior absorvente 1 no qual é formado com uma trama fibrosa e fixada em uma superfície superior da folha superior 11. O almofadado superior absorvente 1 tem uma pluralidade de aberturas 2 estendendo-se através ao almofadado 1 na direção de sua espessura e espaçada um do outro em uma direção interseccionando a direção da espessura e uma parede 3 definindo cada abertura 2 onde a parede 3 tem um nível de densidade de fibra no qual é mais alta na região superior da referida parede e mais baixa na região inferior da referida parede situando-se adjacente à folha superior.
