Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA VERIFICAR A OPERABILIDADE DE UM CATALISADOR DE PURIFICAçãO DE GáS DE EXAUSTãO". A invenção refere-se a um processo para verificar a operabilidade de um catalisador de purificação de gás de exaustão para motores a diesel, o qual tem uma temperatura de desligamento e um grau de conversão r~ co~ para monóxido de carbono (CO), por medição direta da concentração de monóxido de carbono em combinação com uma medição da temperatura. O processo é caracterizado pelo fato de que para avaliar a atividade catalítica remanescente do catalisador é determinada a diferença <30>T entre a temperatura de saída do catalisador corrente T~ E~ do gás de exaustão e a temperatura de desligamento T~ co,50%,puro~ do catalisador puro para o monóxido de carbono armazenado como uma função da velocidade e da carga <30>T = T~ E~ -T~ CO,50%,puro~ e é avaliado o grau de conversão r~ co~ para o monóxido de carbono.
