Abstract

"MEIOS FILTRANTES FIBROSOS DE DESEMPENHO APERFEIçOADO E CONJUNTO DE FILTRO DE FLUIDO DE VIDA úTIL PROLONGADA". é fornecido meio filtrante fibroso de desempenho otimizado (60) mediante orientação de fibras (62) de meios filtrantes predominantemente paralelas à direção (46) de fluxo. A construção dos meios filtrantes é provida por uma folha (80) que tem uma subfolha (88) pregueada interna, com pregas (92,94) engatando e sendo acondicionadas umas contra as outras de forma suficientemente apertadas e ligadas (104) de tal modo que o fluido flua ao longo da direção de fluxo através das pregas em paralelo com as mesmas, mais propriamente do que entre as pregas e então transversalmente através das mesmas. Um conjunto de filtro de fluido de dois estágios de vida útil prolongada inclui primeiro e segundo elemento de filtro (80 e 112), em que as pregas (114, 116) de um elemento (112) de filtro a jusante principal são espaçadas umas das outras ao longo de uma direção (122) de espaçamento transversal à direção (46) de fluxo e definindo uma folga transversal (124) entre as mesmas através da qual flui o fluido, e em que as pregas (92, 94) de um elemento (80) de pré-filtro a montante são acondicionadas umas contra as outras sem tal folga transversal e bloqueando o fluxo de fluido entre as mesmas.
