Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA LOCALIZAR A FONTE DE UM SINAL DESCONHECIDO, E, DISPOSITIVO DE LOCALIZAçãO PARA LOCALIZAR A FONTE DE UM SINAL DESCONHECIDO RECEBIDO POR UMA PLURALIDADE DE RETRANSMISSORES DE SINAL". Processo para determinar a localização de uma fonte desconhecida (10) transmitindo um sinal para retransmissores de satélite (14 e 16) compreende receber réplicas do sinal a partir dos retransmissores nos receptores (18). Os receptores (18) transmitem também e recebem sinais de referência via respectivos retransmissores (14 e 16). Todos os sinais são convertidos para baixo, digitalizados e correlacionados um com o outro em pares, usando uma função de correlação incluindo um termo que compensa quanto ao deslocamento de freq³ência diferencial variando com o tempo (DFO). A compensação para deslocamento de tempo diferencial variando com o tempo ou dilação de tempo é obtida replicando ou adicionando amostras de sinais e aplicando correções de fase. Este procedimento habilita um máximo de correlação e resultados de medição associados a serem obtidos, apesar dos efeitos de movimento de satélite retransmissor, que se abrandam com isto. Resultados são usados em uma técnica geométrica da técnica anterior, para localizar o transmissor desconhecido.
