Abstract

Un método de determinacion de la ubicacion de una fuente desconocida 10 que transmite una senal a retransmisores satelitales 14 y 16 comprende recibirréplicas de la senal proveniente de los retransmisores en los receptores 18. Los receptores 18tambi én transmiten y reciben senales de referencia por medio derespectivos retransmisores 14 y 16. Todas las senales son convertidas descendentemente, digitalizadas y correlacionadas entre sí en pares utilizando unafuncion de correlacion queincluye un té rmino que compensa por desplazamiento de frecuencia diferencial variante con el tiempo (DFD). La compensacion pordesplazamiento en el tiempo diferencial variante con el tiempo o dilacion de tiempo es lograda replicando o agregando amuestras de las s enales y aplicandocorrecciones de fase. Este procedimiento permite una máxima correlacion y resultados de medicion asociados a ser obtenidos a pesar de los efectos delmovimiento del satélite retransmisor que atenua contra estos.Los resultados son ut ilizados en una técnica geométrica de acuerdo a lo conocido anteriormentepara ubicar el transmisor desconocido.
