Abstract
"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA DETERMINAR O PONTO DE AJUSTE DE CONTROLE DE POTêNCIA EM MALHA FECHADA EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO DE DADOS EM PACOTE. A presente invenção consiste de um método e um equipamento novos e aperfeiçoados para efetuar o controle de potência em malha fechada. é descrito um método para implementar o loop externo de link reverso usando apenas o sinal piloto. Tal método é especialmente útil quando os sinais de dados estão presentes apenas em rajadas curtas de tal forma que as taxas de erros de pacotes ou frames (PER ou FER) não podem ser estimadas acuradamente. Ademais, uma vez que tal método propicia um mecanismo para o ajuste acurado do "set point" mesmo sem uma estimativa de PER (FER), ele pode também ser usado para melhorar a acuracidade do desempenho do loop externo quando tal estimativa se torna disponível. A presente invenção estima uma "taxa de erro de bit piloto" (PBER) (200) em que cada "bit" de piloto consiste de um número de chips piloto distribuídos através de um frame. Além disso, ela estima a variância normalizada da energia de sinal (ou C/I) (202) para cada pacote.
