Abstract

"CONTROLE DE FLUXO EM DISPOSITIVOS DE REDE". Métodos e aparelho são proporcionados para controlar taxas de fluxo de uma pluralidade de fluxos de pacotes de dados em uma fila 4 correspondendo a um recurso 3 de um dispositivo de rede 1. Os fluxos compreendem um conjunto de fluxos não responsivos e um conjunto 8 de outros fluxos, que podem compreender fluxos responsivos e/ou fluxos cuja responsividade não é conhecida. As taxas de fluxo são gerenciadas de acordo com o esquema de gerenciamento de fila de tal modo que ajustes são feitos a cada taxa de fluxo na dependência de largura de banda excedente no recurso, as quantidades de ajustes sendo dependentes de um ou mais parâmetros de ajuste para cada fluxo. Um sinal de erro é gerado com base do desvio da relação de alocação desejada da relação de taxas de fluxo total em uma fila 4 para is conjuntos de fluxo 7, 8. Pelo menos um parâmetro de ajuste para pelo menos um fluxo é então variado na dependência do sinal de erro de maneira a reduzir o referido desvio. Um esquema de controle de loop fechado opera, assim, em conjunto com o esquema de gerenciamento básico para promover alocação de banda imparcial até mesmo na presença de uma variedade defluxos responsivos e não responsivos.
