Abstract

"MéTODO PARA OPERAR UM EQUIPAMENTO MóVEL EM UMA REDE SEM FIO, SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO, E, MéTODO PARA OPERAR UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO". Método para operar um equipamento móvel (EM10) em uma rede sem fio (12), o método possui os passos de (A) determinar um parâmetro que é indicativo de um sinal de qualidade; (B) calcular no EM uma indicação de qualidade do enlace, por meio de filtragem possuindo um comprimento de filtro que é uma função do parâmetro determinado, tal como a velocidade ou uma derivada da velocidade do EM; e (C) relatar a indicação calculada da qualidade do enlace à rede sem fio. Preferivelmente, a indicação da velocidade do EM é transmitida nos bits de enchimento da mensagem ponto-a-ponto. A indicação da velocidade do EM é usada para modificar ou substituir o fator de omissão "a" que influencia o comprimento através da operação de cálculo da média do filtro, que opera os dados de medida do enlace de qualidade, tal como a Probabilidade de Erro de Bit (PEB) ou de um coeficiente de variação do PEB.
