Abstract

<B><MU>PROCESSO DE REDUçãO DIRETA PARA PRODUZIR FERRO FUNDIDO E/OU LIGAS DE FERRO A PARTIR DE UM MATERIAL DE ALIMENTAçãO METALìFERO<MV><D> Expõe-se um processo de redução direta para produzir ferro fundido e/ou ligas de ferro a partir de um material de alimentação metalífero. O processo consiste em um processo baseado em banho fundido que é realizado em um vaso de redução direta. O processo inclui as etapas de alimentar-se material de alimentação metalífero, material carbonáceo e fundentes para dentro do vaso; reduzir o material de alimentação metalífero para ferro fundido no banho fundido; e injetar um gás que contém oxigênio dentro do vaso para pós-combustão dos gases gerados no processo. O processo é caracterizado pelo controle do nível de metal fundido no vaso mediante ajustagem da pressão no vaso.
