L'invention concerne un cendrier, et notamment un cendrier comprenant une partie dans laquelle une extrémité de cigarette est posée, et une partie contenant de l'eau destinée à l'extinction de l'extrémité allumée de la cigarette.
Les cendriers classiques destinés à recevoir une extrémité de cigarette comprennent une partie dans laquelle on peut poser les cendres et une extrémité de cigarette, et ils présentent également divers motifs décoratifs pouvant constituer un ornement pour une pièce. Les cendres recueillies dans ces cendriers peuvent être facilement dispersées par le vent, même lorsque ce dernier est faible, et lorsqu'on laisse une extrémité de cigarette allumée dans un tel

Pour éliminer ces défauts, on connaît un cendrier dans lequel une réserve d'eau permet d'éteindre l'extrémité allumée d'une cigarette. Cependant, l'extrémité d'une cigarette trempée dans l'eau peut s'altérer et la nicotine est

en dégageant une odeur désagréable, cette nicotine adhérant également à la surface intérieure du cendrier.
L'invention concerne un cendrier perfectionné ne présentant pas les défauts indiqués ci-dessus.
L'invention sera décrite plus en détail en regard du dessin annexé à titre d'exemples nullement limitatifs et sur lequel :
- les figures 1A et 1B sont respectivement une demi-vue en plan et une coupe par un plan diamétral d'une première forme de réalisation du cendrier selon l'invention ;

- les figures 3A et 3B sont des vues analogues à celles des figures 1A et 1B, d'une troisième forme de réalisation du cendrier selon l'invention.
Les figures 1A et 1B représentent le cendrier 1 selon l'invention qui est divisé en deux parties 2 et 3 par un élément de cloisonnement. De l'eau est tenue en réserve dans l'une ou l'autre des parties 2 et 3 et l'extrémité allumée d'une cigarette est éteinte par immersion dans l'eau après que la cigarette a été fumée. L'extrémité de la cigarette est ensuite placée dans une partie ne contenant pas d'eau. Pendant la consommation de cigarettes, les cendres ne sont donc pas dispersées au moindre déplacement d'air se produisant dans une pièce, car elles tombent dans l'eau. De cette manière, on évite la putréfaction de la cigarette et il est possible de maintenir le cendrier à l'état propre.
Les figures 2A, 2B, 3A et 3B représentent un cendrier 1 qui comprend une partie 2 située sur son côté intérieur et pouvant de préférence être séparée et retirée de ce cendrier 1. En général, la partie 2 est mise en place dans le cendrier 1 par insertion, par exemple, d'un récipient en forme de colonne cylindrique ou carrée. Dans ce cas, il est préférable que ledit récipient en forme de colonne cylindrique ou carrée soit convenablement maintenu dans le cendrier 1. Une partie 3 entoure extérieurement la partie 2, et l'une ou l'autre des parties 2 et 3 peut être remplie d'eau. L'utilisation de ce cendrier est la même que celle du cendrier montré sur les figures 1A et 1B.
Dans le cas des formes de réalisation montrées sur les figures 2A, 2B, 3A et 3B, il est préférable de placer l'eau à l'extérieur de la partie 2, c'est-à-dire de remplir la partie 3, et de poser l'extrémité éteinte de la cigarette dans la partie 2. Les figures 2A, 2B, 3A et 3B montrent une cloison 4 comprise entre les parties 2 et 3. Cette cloison 4 permet d'enlever aisément la partie 2 et de nettoyer avec soin ladite partie 2 contenant les extrémités de cigarette. De plus, l'eau ne s'égoutte pas de la partie 2 lorsque cette dernière est éloignée du cendrier 1, car la surface extérieure de la partie 2 est exempte de l'eau contenue dans la partie 3.
En outre, la zone inférieure de la partie 3 est arrondie plutôt qu'à angle droit, comme représenté en 5, et cette zone 5 peut donc être aisément nettoyée.

Comme indiqué précédemment, le cendrier selon l'invention permet d'éteindre aisément une cigarette allumée et il peut être aisément nettoyé. Le cendrier selon l'invention est donc d'un usage agréable.
Il va de soi que de nombreuses modifications peuvent être apportées au cendrier décrit et représenté sans sortir du cadre de l'invention.

Figures 1A and 1B show the ashtray 1 according to the invention which is divided into two parts 2 and 3 by a partitioning element. Water is kept in reserve in one or other of the parts 2 and 3 and the lit end of a cigarette is extinguished by immersion in water after the cigarette has been smoked. The end of the cigarette is then placed in a part that does not contain water. During the consumption of cigarettes, the ashes are therefore not dispersed at the slightest movement of air occurring in a room, because they fall into the water. In this way, the putrefaction of the cigarette is avoided and it is possible to keep the ashtray clean.
Figures 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B show an ashtray 1 which includes a part 2 situated on its inner side and which can preferably be separated and removed from this ashtray 1. In general, part 2 is placed in the ashtray 1 by insertion, for example, of a container in the form of a cylindrical or square column. In this case, it is preferable that said container in the form of a cylindrical or square column is suitably held in the ashtray 1. A part 3 externally surrounds part 2, and either of parts 2 and 3 can be filled of water. The use of this ashtray is the same as that of the ashtray shown in Figures 1A and 1B.
In the case of the embodiments shown in FIGS. 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B, it is preferable to place the water outside of part 2, that is to say to fill part 3, and to put the extinguished end of the cigarette in part 2. FIGS. 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B show a partition 4 comprised between parts 2 and 3. This partition 4 makes it possible to easily remove part 2 and to clean with care said part 2 containing the cigarette ends. In addition, the water does not drip from part 2 when the latter is removed from the ashtray 1, since the external surface of part 2 is free of the water contained in part 3.
In addition, the lower zone of part 3 is rounded rather than at a right angle, as shown in 5, and this zone 5 can therefore be easily cleaned.

It goes without saying that many modifications can be made to the ashtray described and shown without departing from the scope of the invention.
