Fig. 1 est une vue en coupe longitudinale d'un appareil réchauffeur suivant la présente invention;
Fig. 2 est une vue d'élévation latérale de ce même appareil ;
Fig. 3 est une vue en coupe transversale par le milieu de l'appareil;

“GAS MIXTURE HEATER, FOR SUPPLYING HEAVY OIL TO ENGINES! EXPLOSION” The present invention relates to a gas mixture heating system, allowing a total or partial supply of heavy oil to internal combustion engines, by gasification intense, at a substantially constant temperature, of the particles of combustible liquid which are still in the gas mixture before its admission into the cylinders of the engine.
For this purpose and according to the invention, the reheating of the gases coming from the carburetor is obtained by passing the said gases in contact with tubes heated by the circulating water of the engine, the said tubes being arranged in a connected chamber. 'on the one hand to the carburetor outlet duct and on the other hand to the intake duct., 1 aux. engine cylinders.
Also according to the invention and with a view to ensuring the heating device the necessary temperature to produce the gezation.

intense droplets of fuel that still contains the gas mixture supplied by the carburetor, the gas preheating chamber, in said device, can receive extra calories from an exhaust gas circulation tube of the engine, preferably also passing through the reheating chamber.
Finally, in order to ensure as complete gasification as possible of the mixture introduced into the cylinders, the bottom of the cylinder head or possibly the head of the piston may be lined with a metallic mass, preferably in the form of a mushroom, acting at the same time. both as a heat flyer and as a gasification surface.
By way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a heating apparatus according to the present invention;
Fig. 2 is a side elevational view of the same device;
Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view through the middle of the apparatus;
Fig. 4 is a schematic view showing the arrangement of the mushroom-shaped metal mass in the explosion chamber.
As shown in Fig. 1, the gasifying heater apparatus consists of a casing 1, preferably of cylindrical shape, closed at its two ends by walls 2 and 3. This casing is provided with two openings 4 and 5 communicating respectively with the carburettor outlet duct and with the engine intake duct, to which the appliance can be connected by the mounting brackets 6 and 7.
Inside the casing or casing 1 and at a certain distance from the funds 2 and 3, are arranged two circular partitions 8 and 9 serving as supports for a series of tubes 10, of rectilinear shape or of any other suitable shape, preferably arranged circularly as shown in Fig. 3, at a short distance from the casing

1. These tubes 10 open into the chambers 11 and 12 formed at the ends of the casing between the bottom walls 2 and 5 and the partitions 8 and 9. The chambers 11 and 12, communicating with each other by the tubes 10, are joined together. by the connections 13 and 14 respectively to an inlet pipe and to a circulation water outlet pipe, said pipes (not shown) themselves being connected to the engine cooling water circulation circuit.
The tubes 10 passing through the space or chamber 15 formed in the casing 1 around said tubes, are therefore always maintained at the temperature of the circulating water, which makes it possible to maintain in the. The temperature was relatively high and uniform during operation of the vehicle.
It is understood that thanks to this arrangement, the. particles, liquids which are in the gaseous mixture entering the chamber 15, are subjected to. active gasification in the said chambra, before the access of the said mixture into the engine suction duct.
Since the heating tubes 10 are subjected to the temperature of the circulating water of the engine, it is also understood that the gasification chamber 15 will be, still at. a relatively high temperature, even after a more or less prolonged stop of the engine. As a result, restarting the engine will be greatly facilitated.
In the event that it would be desirable to obtain an even higher temperature in the chamber 15, said chamber, as well as the water spaces 11 and 12 may also be crossed by a tube 16, itself traversed by the gases. engine exhaust. the circulation of water in the apparatus, as well as the circulation of the gases in the tube 16, may of course be regulated by means, suitable, in order to obtain in the.
