" BOURBEUSE."

"BURGER."
The present patent relates to a tamping machine intended for cnarcutiers, butchers etc, to send in the form of oudin the via-% of in the casings arranged to receive it. The machines currently in use are bulky with gears or other mechanisms discovered which increases the risk of accidents and requires more frequent maintenance and cleaning.
The tamping machine that is the subject of this patent is as small as possible in size and does not have any gearing or other mechanism on the outside which, when rotating, could constitute a danger.
For this purpose - the tamper piston control mechanism is placed in a casing forming part of the tamper cylinder or attached to the latter by any appropriate means.
In order to better fa, ire to emerge from the above statement, the appended drawings represent:
Fig.I the sectional elevation view followed A, B, C, D, E, F Fig.2 of a tamper executed in accordance with the object of the invention.

This cr-naiîlàra 8 is driven by the gear 9. integral with a shaft 10 penetrating into the lower part of a casing made integral with the cylinder of the tamper 1 and closed by a cover 3.
The cylinder wall 1 and the housing cover µ are provided

The mechanism comprises a shaft 20 controlled by a crank 22 fixed by the wing nut 23. On this shaft 20 there is a worm 21 engaged with a wheel 19 wedged on the shaft 18, which also carries a spur gear. 17 in rise with the gear

It goes without saying that the speed reduction mechanism housed
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
in the housing is appropriate in each case to the flow rate of the tamping machine.
The mechanism shown in fig. 1,2,3 3 has only an explanatory and non-limiting character. One can imagine other speed reduction modes as well as a support or barrel 2 having for example three or four uprights or feet.
It should be noted that the object of the invention is in no way restricted to the example given of a casing forming an integral part of the cylinder, it is possible to design a casing with a cover cast separately and then attached to the tamping machine. any suitable way.
In summary, it is necessary to consider as coming within the scope of the present patent a tamper, characterized by the following: R E V E N D I C A IONS.
1) Tamping machine characterized in that the control mechanism comprising a suitable speed reducer with disengagement device, is housed in a casing, forming part of the cylinder of the flock; its or attached to the latter.
2) One embodiment of the tamper as substantially described and shown and others comprising all or part of the characteristic elements developed above.
