La présente invention a trait à une préparation ou une composition permettant d'enlever la couleur,le vernis et autres produits similaires, et à son mode d'obtention. L'objet de l'in- vention est de produire une matière ou une composition conser- vant son humidité pendant 24 heures ou davantage,et capable de pénétrer dans un grand nombre de couches de peinture, dans une seule application et utilisable sans nuls effets secondaires non désirés.
La composition suivant l'invention,consiste en un mélan- ge de naphte ou de benzol cru et d'alcool méthylique. La composition préférée est la suivante:

Pour préparer cette composition,des parties égales de cire d'abeille ou de cire terrestre,de paraffine et de cérésine sont soumises à la fusion jusqu'à l'état liquide;
on prépare alors un mélange de naphte de de benzol dans les proportions reqaises ,dans lequel mélange on introduit la cire fondue,puis l'alcool méthylique en opérant lentement pour éviter la solidification de la cire.
Il doit être entendu que les proportions des substances sus-indiquées ne le sont qu'à titre d'exemple.L'invention ne se borne pas à cette composition et les proportions sont variables dans certaines limites.
Au surplus,on peut,si on le désire,préparer la compo- sition sous forme de pâte.De la sorte,son emploi est Plus écomemique pour le traitement des papiers Ternis,les usten- siles de cuisine en émail et autres objets similaires. une variante pour l'application de l'invention consiste dans le mélange suivant :

Il est donc évident que le naphte ou le benzol cra et l'alcool méthylique sont la base de construction de la formule
Il est notoire qu'actuellement,les agents servant à enlever la peinture et le vernis dessèdhent rapidement,en raison de leur composition.C'est pourqoi la présente invention offre un caractère différentiel,parce que,réduite à la tempé- rature ordinaire, elle ne devient pas chimiquement inactive, mais conserve son humidité,tant intérieurement qu'extérieurement et est résistante au gel.
La cire forme une couverture pour le naphte et l'empê- che ainsi de s'évaporer,et lai permet de pénétrer dans un nombre illimité de couches de peintures sans porvoquer de dégâts sar la boiserie ou autre surface d'application.
