<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

Ring spinning device
The invention relates to a ring spinning device with a driven spindle, intended to receive a spool, and an annular guide concentrically surrounding the spindle and
EMI1.1
e the spool, for a cursor having a guide eyelet for the incoming wire.
In ring spinning devices, the wick pulled by a drawing device is led, via an annular wire guide, to a spool housed on a driven spindle. The annular wire guide generally consists of a cursor rotating concentrically around the spool on a guide ring, a cursor which is mounted on the ring with two branches surrounding the slide of the cursor on either side, and forms an eyelet guide for the wire brought to the spool, so that the wire leads to the rotating spool drives the cursor. Each rotation of the slider therefore causes a twist of the wire, while the difference in rotational speed between the coil which rotates faster, and the slider which rotates less quickly, determines the speed of winding of the wire.
The centrifugal forces acting on the one hand on the cursor, and on the other hand, on the wick of fibers wound with the cursor around the spool so as to give a thread determine, in relation to the guiding forces of the wire, a torque of reversal on the cursor, transverse compared to the slide of the cursor, which involves a limitation of the speeds of rotation of cursor admissible in continuous service. Added to this is the fact that the conditions for feeding the wire to the coil are modified with the increase in the diameter of the coil, since the direction of traction on the wire of the guide eyelet of the cursor, tangentially at the spool, changes with increasing diameter of the spool during the winding process.
This dependence on the conditions of traction and winding of the wire in the area of the annular wire guide entail, on the wire, different loads which cause disturbances, in particular when the cursor rotates at high speeds.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The object of the invention is therefore to configure a ring spinning device of the type initially described so as to be able to guarantee, on the one hand high speeds of rotation of the cursor and, on the other hand, essentially uniform traction conditions for the wire fed by the annular guide of the coil.
The invention solves the problem posed, in that the cursor consists of an annular body surrounding the reel, cooperating with the annular guide, the said body pressing on the reel via stirrups resiliently pressing on the reel and that a stirrup has the guide eyelet in the sector where the stirrup rests on the coil.
Thanks to the presence of an annular body surrounding the coil which is kept pivoting relative to the guide ring, the overturning torque caused by the guide efforts of the wire can be absorbed and canceled simply via the cursor. The unilateral load due to centrifugal force of a cursor moving on the guide ring develops, while a load of centrifugal force directed outwards can be avoided by a rotationally symmetrical configuration of the cursor.
The additional support of the annular body on the coil via the stirrups adjacent to the coil thus releases the annular guide, which makes it possible to reach high peripheral speeds.
The stirrups must bear elastically on the spool in order to take into account the increase in the spool diameter conditioned by the winding of the wire.
Thanks to the arrangement of the guide eyelet in the bearing area of a stirrup on the spool, the disturbing dependence between the conditions of traction of the wire in the area of the guide eyelet and the diameter of the spool can be, furthermore, reduced to at least an insignificant value, since the guide eyelet practically does not modify its position relative to the surface of the coil, so that in total the traction conditions of the uniform threads, including for
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
high slider rotation speeds.
Particularly simple construction conditions can be achieved in an improvement of the invention, in that the annular body of the cursor consists of at least two stirrups connected to each other at their ends, which surround the coil with symmetry of rotation with a greater circumferential length, bear elastically on the coil and are held, via sliding shoes, with a radial clearance in the annular guide. The circumferential length of the stirrups, greater than that of the coil, guarantees a
EMI3.1
e spacing with the increase in the diameter of the coil if the sliding pads are maintained with a radial clearance in the annular guide, so as to be able to compensate for the increase in diameter in one direction by a corresponding decrease in diameter in the other meaning.
Thanks to the elastic design of the stirrups, they continue to rest on the spool regardless of the spool diameter considered, which is important for bringing the wire to the spool via the guide eyelet provided in the area d 'support.
The calipers of the cursor which form the annular body must not only be able to rotate around the spool, but also be able to be displaced axially with respect to the spool, which requires taking into account the conditions of friction between the stirrups and the spool. stirrups having, for example, in the area adjacent to the spool, sliding elements which, advantageously, have a domed sliding surface so as to obtain favorable sliding conditions for the relative movement of the stirrups relative to the spool in the peripheral direction as well as in the axial direction.
The object of the invention is illustrated by way of example in the drawing. Are represented: In fig. 1 a ring spinning device according to the invention, in a schematic top view, with an empty spool,
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
In fig. 2 a ring spinning device corresponding to FIG. 1, with full reel, In fig. 3 a section along the axis III-III of FIG. 2, on an enlarged scale, In fig. 4, the ring spinning device, in vertical section along the axis IV-IVdelafig. 1, on a reduced scale and, In fig. 5, a vertical section along the axis V-V of FIG. 1, also on a reduced scale.
The ring spinning device shown essentially consists of a spindle 2 driven via a spindle nut 1 to receive a spool 3, to which is brought the wire 4 made from a drawn wick, via an annular wire guide 5 which has an annular guide 6 for a cursor 7. This cursor 7 consists of an annular body surrounding the coil which, according to the embodiment, consists of two stirrups resting elastically on the coil 3, which stirrups 8 are each formed of a V-shaped elastic stirrup, which carries a sliding pad 9 in the connection zone of its two branches and is connected by the ends of these branches to the ends of the branches of the opposite stirrup 8, as well as this is particularly apparent from Figures 1 and 2, by the connecting piece 10.
Since the two stirrups 8 surround the spool 3 with rotational symmetry and with a circumferential length greater than that of the spool, the branches of the stirrups 8 which rest on the spool 3 can be moved apart during the winding process as and as the diameter of the coils increases, which necessarily leads to a radial movement towards the inside of the sliding shoes 9, which must then be maintained with a radial clearance in the annular guide 6. For this purpose, the guide annular 6 has in section, a U-shaped profile between the branches of which the sliding shoes 9 are inserted.
In order to be able to adjust a guide clearance adapted to the conditions prevailing between the sliding pads 9 and the fixed branches of the annular guide 6, which hold them in the axial direction, the
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
two branches of the annular guide 6 with U-section can be offset from each other in the axial direction, as shown in FIG. 3.
The wire 4 brought to the cursor 7 during the spinning process via an eyelet 11 and a guide ring 12 for limiting the offset caused by the centrifugal force of the wire in formation, passes through a guide eyelet 13, provided in the area of connection of two branch ends of
EMI5.1
stirrups 8 on the end piece 10, eyelet via which it is brought tangentially to the reel 3. As the reel diameter increases, the branches of the stirrups 8 are spread by the reel up to that the stirrups 8 assume a final position according to FIG. 3 from the starting position according to fig. 1.
The guide eyelet 13 then retains its position relative to the surface of the spool, so that the conditions of drawing of the wire cannot be modified by the guide eyelet 13 in a manner which is detrimental to the spinning process. It is therefore possible to reach very high rotational speeds for the slider, even in continuous service. To obtain favorable sliding conditions between the stirrups 8 and the surface of the spool, the branches of the stirrups 8 can be provided, in the area adjacent to the spool 3, with sliding elements 14 which, according to example d 'execution, are formed by tubes fixed on the branches of stirrups.
