- a magazine element (5) fixely mounted on the rotatable shaft (1) and which comprise essentially a hollow bowl which extends around the package carrying assembly (9) along part of its height and which has a conduit (18) for the passage of the yarn (16), said yarn resting against the surface of the aforesaid bowl in a perceptibly helical fashion before forming the balloon proper, said bowl having an external shape under the form of a revolution volume diverging towards the package carrying assembly (9) and the axle of which being coaxial with the shaft of the spindle characterized by the fact that the revolution volume has, in the region of the yarn outlet, a first part (6) of conical shape with a gradual shape and extending over between one-third and one-half of the length of the hollow bowl, said conical part (6) being prolonged by a second part (7) having a concave bell-mouthed configuration.
2. Double twist spindle according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the retaining means of the package carrying assembly (9) are magnetic means (21).
3. Double twist spindle according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized by the fact that the conduit for the passage of the yarn in the rotatable bowl comprises a part (17) which is coaxial with and in line with the hollow axle (14) of the package carrying assembly and a part (18) which extends transversely from the first of the two previous cited parts.
4. Double twist spindle according to claim 4, characterized by the fact that a diverting element (19) is positioned at the junction of the parts (17-18) of the conduit for the passage of the yarn.
