Wire winding machine. The object of the invention is a machine for i) (-; hoeing the thread.
Like others, it comprises machines designed to wind the wire, independent spindles each driven by a plate and a friction disc. But it differs from it in that the disc: a, a tubular hub surrounding the spindle, located between two bearings of this spindle and being able to slide axially to engage the disc with the plate or move it away, the spindle being axially fixed and directly receiving its rotational movement of the disc.
The attached drawing partially shows an embodiment of the machine consisting of a winder and given by way of example.
The single figure is an axial section through one of the pins of this embodiment.
The latter comprises winding pins 7, independent, horizontal. and parallels. They are coupled to disks, drive 6 rotated by (the plates 5 of a shaft 4. Wire guides cooperating with them each have a metal rod 26 bent at its upper end 26a to receive the wire. and action born in a way that the drawing does not show.
Each of the spindles 7 rotates in ball bearings 27a, 27b housed in supports, 28a, 28b of the frame provided laterally with shut-off washers 29, 30, 31 maintaining the lubricant and preventing the introduction of dust into the supports. 28a, 28b.
One of the: bearing rings, 27a, of the bearing 27a is immobilized on the spindle 7 between two bushes 32, 33. which are threaded onto it and one of which, 32, takes bearing against a shoulder 35 .of this spindle, while the other -is blocked by a nut 34 screwed onto 7; the other bearing ring, 27e, can move axially in the support 28a.
One of the rings, bearing, 27f, of bearing 27b is. likewise immobilized on the spindle 7 between, on the one hand, a bush 37 spun thereon and bearing .bearing on a shoulder 38, on the other hand, a washer 39 and a nut 40 screwed onto this spindle. 7. As for the, bearing ring 279 it is held in place by the washers 30, 31. On the bushes 32, 3 7 can freely rotate the hub 6a of the disc 6 having inside ment a collar 44 on which a spring acts. coil 45 resting on the bush 32: in this way the disc 6 is constantly pressed against the plate 5 which makes it rotate.
The drive of the spindle 7 by the disc 6 takes place by means of axial teeth 43, the hub 6a of which is provided at one of its ends and which are housed in the regular cutouts of a collar. 41 united with the. sleeve 37, without preventing the relative axial movement of 6a and 7. When you want to stop the. rotation of the latter, a roller (not shown) is made to act from right to left on a flange 46 of the hub 6a, which separates the disc 6 from the plate 5.
The bearings of the spindle could also be roller bearings.
The contact surfaces of the discs and the platters, instead of being flat, can be tapered.
