Abstract

On se propose de construire un trou de forage sous-marin de grand diamètre (entre 10 et 50 m de diamètre) équipé d'un mur stable au moyen d'une méthode comprenant le forage d'un certain nombre de trous autour de la ciconférence d'un anneau de large diamètre, et en fournissant aux trous de forage disposés en anneau, un matériau permettant de stabiliser localement les formations géologiques avoisinantes et de constituer un trou de forage central, ou arbre, au sein du périmètre de l'anneau par forage et par excavation. Les trous de forage disposés en anneau et les formations géologiques localement stabilisées constituent un mur stable de gros diamètre pour l'axe du trou de forage central.
