Abstract
The fabric towel dispenser advantageously consists of two towel units, each of which is fully operational on its own. Here, the fabric towel (7) is taken over a dispensing roller (20) to an intake roller (25). When the towel (7) is pulled out to form a loop (8) the dispensing roller (20) rotates, as does the intake roller (25) via a belt drive (32). In the intake shaft (30) is fitted a spring (36) which is tensioned when the towel is pulled out. The length of the towel which can be withdrawn is limited by a ratchet (43) and a pawl (44). Since part of the used towel wound on the intake roller (25) can be withdrawn as well, the length of the clean towel to be dispensed can be reduced. After a given time a timer releases the pawl (44) so that the spring causes the intake roller (25) to rotate and wind up the loop (8) of towel fabric.
