Abstract

1359311 Tape dispensers F TANGE and K TSUDA 6 Sept 1971 [4 Sept 1970] 41509/71 Heading A4G In a tape dispenser depression of lever 9 pivoted at shaft 18 carrying tape roll 14 acts on pin 8" of crank 8 pivoted on shaft 4 carrying a rotatable drum 5 with ratchet teeth 6 around its periphery. A corrugated belt 10 passes around the drum and roller 3 and drives rollers 11, 11' pressing on the belt. Movement of crank 8 turns the drum and belt by crank pawls 7 engaging the ratchet teeth, the tape being dispensed under fixed cutter 12 by engagement between the belt and roller 11. If the tape has a backing, this is peeled off over a stripper just below the cutter by the backing passing between the belt and roller 11'.
