  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines vegetabilischen   Haarfärbe-und-Waschmittels.   



   Es werden die Knospen und jungen Blätter verschiedener Pappelarten, vornehmlich der Schwarzpappel (Populus   nigra),   in einer Flasche mit Wasser übergossen, diese verschlossen und drei Stunden im Dunst erhitzt. Nach dem Erkalten seiht man die Flüssigkeit durch ein feines Tuch. füllt sie in Flaschen und erhitzt diese verschlossen nochmals zwei Stunden im Dunst. 



   Man erhält auf diese Weise eine hellgelbe, angenehm riechende Plüssigkeit, welche sowohl zum   Kopfwaschen, gegen   Schuppen, als auch als Mittel zum Blondfärben weisser Haare vorzüglich geeignet ist : auch der Haarwuchs wird durch dieselbe wesentlich gefördert. 



   Es ist zwar eine Pappelsalbe, die aus Pappelknospen und Schweinefett besteht, bekannt, doch hat diese wegen des Fettgehalt, weder auf die Farbe noch auf den Haarwuchs irgend einen Einfluss. Der wässerige Auszug der Pappelknospen färbt die entfetteten Haare schon nach zwei-bis dreimaligem Waschen dauerhaft blond.
