Ventilationsaufsatz für Dächer.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Ventilationsaufsatz für Dächer, der dazu dient, die Ventilation von Dachräumlichkeiten (Mansarden usw.) zu ermöglichen, ohne dass Wasser oder feste Körper (Staub, kleine Tiere usw.) eindringen können.
Die Zeichnung zeigt eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform eines solchen Ventilationsaufsatzes, und zwar eingefügt in die Dachdeckung.
Der Aufsatz besteht aus einer Kappe 1 in Tonnenform, dessen in der Ablaufrichtung des Wassers am tiefsten liegende Wand 2 aus einem engmaschigen Drahtnetz 3 gebildet ist, das beispielsweise von einer mit fächerförmigen Schlitzen versehenen Platte abgedeckt sein kann. Die Kappe 1 ist zweckmässig mit einem Rand 4 ausgestattet, der eine leichte Verbindung des Aufsatzes mit der Dachdeckung oder den Dachsparren gestattet. An der Stelle des Ansatzes der Wand 2 an die durch diesen Rand gebildete Grundplatte ist die letztere erfindungsgemäss nach aufwärts verlängert, wodurch unter der Kappe ein Streifen 5 gebildet ist, dessen freier Rand 6 nach aufwärts gebogen ist. 7 sind anstossende Dachziegel. Der Aufsatz wird an geeigneter Stelle in der dargestellten Art über einer Öffnung im Dache angebracht.
Durch das Drahtnetz kann Luft frei zutreten, wahrend Staub oder dgl. abgehalten wird. Dringen bei heftigem Wind durch die Wand 2 Regentropfen, so werden diese durch den Teil 5 der Grundplatte und den aufgebogenen Rand 6 aufgehalten und wieder nach abwärts und aussen abgeleitet.
Der ganze Aufsatz besteht vorzugsweise aus Metall (Weissblech oder dgl.) oder irgend einem anderen geeigneten Material. Statt ein besonderes Drahtnetz zu verwenden, kann die Wand 2 auch einfach entsprechend mit Löchern versehen sein. Die Form der Kappe ist natürlich eine beliebige.

Ventilation attachment for roofs.
The subject of the present invention is a ventilation attachment for roofs, which is used to enable ventilation of roof spaces (attics, etc.) without water or solid bodies (dust, small animals, etc.) being able to penetrate.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of such a ventilation attachment, namely inserted into the roof covering.
The attachment consists of a barrel-shaped cap 1, the wall 2 of which, lying deepest in the direction of flow of the water, is formed from a close-meshed wire mesh 3, which can for example be covered by a plate provided with fan-shaped slots. The cap 1 is expediently equipped with an edge 4, which allows an easy connection of the attachment with the roof covering or the rafters. At the point where the wall 2 attaches to the base plate formed by this edge, the latter is extended upwards according to the invention, whereby a strip 5 is formed under the cap, the free edge 6 of which is bent upwards. 7 are adjoining roof tiles. The attachment is attached at a suitable location in the manner shown above an opening in the roof.
Air can freely enter through the wire mesh, while dust or the like is kept away. If raindrops penetrate the wall 2 in a strong wind, they are stopped by the part 5 of the base plate and the upturned edge 6 and diverted downwards and outwards again.
The entire attachment is preferably made of metal (tinplate or the like) or any other suitable material. Instead of using a special wire mesh, the wall 2 can also simply be provided with corresponding holes. The shape of the cap is of course any.
