Device for creating ventilation openings in tiled roofs. In the case of tile roofs with shingle underlay, the service life of the roof slats is greatly reduced because they suffocate as a result of insufficient ventilation of the space between the tile ceiling and the shingle underlay in this room.
This inconvenience can be alleviated by the fact that tiles are slightly lifted at the lower ends at various points on the roof by pushing a support body provided with passage openings underneath.
The support bodies are expediently designed in such a way that they prevent rain and snow from penetrating through the raised bricks.
Of course, these Stützkör can be used for simple tile roofs without shingle beams z. B. for the ventilation of screeds, barns and so on.
In .the drawing an 'example AusTühruugsform of the subject of the invention is shown.
1 shows a view of the support body, FIG. 2 shows a cross section along line I-I in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a part of a. Double roof in cross section with inserted support body and FIG. 4 one half of the roof in cross section.
The supporting body used for roof ventilation consists of a sheet metal strip 1 of an angular profile. The angle of the unequally long profile legs is approx. 110. Both legs 2, 3. Der BIechleiote are respectively with vestibule openings 4, 4 '. Passages 5 provided, which respectively by punching out two opposing sheet metal wings 6, 7. 8 are formed.
The passages 5 on the longer leg 3 are arranged laterally offset in relation to the vestibule openings 4, 4 'on the shorter leg 2. The vestibule openings 4 alternate with the vestibule openings 4 ', with the left wings of the openings 4 being bent inwards and the right wings of the same bent outwards and the latter being so positioned
that wind coming from the left side is caught, while "the left wings of the windings 4 'are bent outwards and the rowed wings of the same are bent inwards and the former are positioned so that winds coming from the right side are caught like this by the arrows drawn in Fig. 1 is illustrated.
At. The Durc'h läsoen. 5 of the profile leg 3 are. the wings 8 are bent inwards by at least 90 in order to allow unimpeded air passage through the openings 5.
The support body is made of stainless sheet metal or. Iron sheet, which is provided with a coating to protect against rust formation; and is, as Fig. 3 shows, pushed under the lower ends of the brick to be lifted Z '(Fig. 3), in such a way that it is connected to the winch opening 4,
4 'provided with leg 2 on the outside and its leg 3 provided with passages 5 is on the inside. The ends of the bricks Z 'are raised approx. 3 cm by the support body which is inserted in this way.
The wind blowing in the vertical direction or diagonally over the roof according to the direction of the arrow in Figs. 3 and 4 is blown through the vestibule openings 4
4 '.the support body is caught and passed through the passages 5 into the insulating space B between the brick ceiling Z and the shingle beam S. Since an automatic, constant Ent ventilation of this cavity B is achieved and prevents suffocation of the battens D in this space.
Depending on the size of the roof, as shown in FIG. 4, the tiles Z 'can be raised in two, three or more horizontal rows of evenly spaced intervals by .the supporting body 1. The support body 1 are on the one hand with the inner legs 3 and on the other hand with the corners of the inwardly curved punching wings 6 .der openings 4, 4 'of the brick ceiling Z and are secured by this support against slipping.
As a result of the staggered arrangement of the passages 5 in relation to the vestibule openings 4, 4 ', it can be prevented that water or snow is forced into the room B even in wild storm and rainy weather or in the case of snow.
In the case of simple roofs without a clapboard, this ventilating device can be used for ventilating screeds, barns, etc.
