Discharge device for chimneys, steam extractors, ventilation devices in stables, etc. The well-known, chimney hats with vestibules and deduction devices on all kinds of exhaust ducts only do their job when the wind flows horizontally and obliquely from below.
Falling wind, however, causes a kickback in the chimney or flue in all previously known chimney hats and extractor devices, which has unpleasant consequences, especially in the case of chimneys in residential buildings, as well as smoke and gas vents of all kinds.
This disadvantage is to be eliminated by the device according to the present invention. For this purpose, the vestibule has means which can generate an ejector-like suction effect on the mouth of a discharge pipe socket opening into the vestibule in the case of a horizontal, rising and falling wind.
In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown along with application examples of devices that have been modified in terms of a detail, namely: Fig. 1 is a view of an attachment, Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same, Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section of the same along line II in Fig. 1, Fg. 4 a longitudinal section of the same according to 1-,
Inie II II in Fig. 3, Fig: 5 an attachment as a chimney hat, Fig. 6 a device with Winkelelför shaped exhaust pipe socket, walled in the trigger egg ner outer wall, and Fig. 7 a trigger device 2n connection with a stall ventilation device.
The attachment shown in Fig. 1 to 4 is made of sheet metal, preferably sheet aluminum, and has a discharge pipe socket 1 of rectangular cross-section with an upwardly tapered part 2 and a downwardly flanged mouth neck, 3 on.
At the edges of the mouth part 2, 3 there are supporting lamellae 4 which are positioned diagonally to the basic rectangular shape of the WZndfang- hat, on the upper ends of which at a greater distance above the mouth 3 of the flue pipe connector, which serves as rain protection and anti-kickback,
upwardly tapering gender and top closed hat 5 be fastened. The opening of the hat is quite angular and at least as wide as the opening of the mouth neck 3, so that the rain water cannot run into the exhaust pipe socket. On the upper ends of the support slats 4 is also a. Ring jacket 6 is attached, which surrounds the hat 5 at a distance and, accordingly, eats it narrowed from bottom to top, that is to say has a wider opening at the bottom than at the top.
The annular space between the ring jacket's 6 and hat 5 expands in the direction from top to bottom, and there is a negative pressure in this space when the wind falls. On the inner edges of the support lamellas 4, a funnel 7, widened from the bottom to the top, is fastened between the hat 5 and the mouth neck 3 of the exhaust pipe, the lower opening of which is smaller than the opening of the mouth neck 3; while the upper opening is approached as far as the opening of the hat 5 and has an inwardly beaded edge.
The funnel 7 has the purpose of guiding the exhaust gases or exhaust air flowing upwards to the outside. Between the ring jacket 6 and the exhaust pipe socket 1, a jacket socket 8 is attached to the support lamellas 4, which is slightly narrowed from top to bottom, while the upper end is relatively narrowed, so that between it and the lower end of the ring jacket 6 a annular gap 9 directed downwards is formed:
Likewise, a downwardly directed annular gap 10 is also formed between the lower end of the Mantelstut zens 8 and the mouth part 2 of the flue pipe projecting into it.
When the wind is flowing horizontally in the direction of the arrows, the over the ring jacket 6 .streichende and through. the annular gaps 9 and 10 through to: upward stroking air in the direction of arrows A from air or exhaust gases from the exhaust pipe socket carried along.
The windscreen hat has the same effect when the wind rises. Bai in the direction of arrows B (Fig. 4) fall the wind, air flows up into the ring jacket 6, is through the hat .5 downwards outside; and escapes through the annular gap 9, with exhaust air or
Exhaust gases from the flue pipe socket according to the arrows. b is carried along by the columns 9 and 10.
The essay is with excellent: It can be used as a fireplace hat (Fig. 5); for what purpose the exhaust pipe socket 1 egg NEN downwardly tapered stepped part 'which engages in the flue duct of the chimney.
FIG. 6 shows the use of a trigger device for triggering through the outer wall into the open air. For this purpose, the exhaust pipe socket 1 is angular, the horizontal part 1 ″ being cemented into the horizontal outlet opening in the wall.
7 also shows an extraction device with angled extraction pipe sockets 1, 1 ″ in connection with a stall ventilation device. The latter has a, in.
the stable wall vertically walled-in tube 11, which is connected below a little above the stable floor through an access opening 12 with the room of the stable and at the top of the stable ceiling on the one hand through an access opening 13 to the room of the stable and on the other hand through a Outlet opening 11 'with the outside half of the
Stalls. connected is. The horizontal arm 1 ″ of the angled exhaust pipe socket 1 is now inserted and fastened into the outlet opening 11 '. The access openings 12 and 13 are dominated by air flaps 14, 15, which ventilate the stable entirely or partially via the upper one, depending on the outside temperature or allow the lower access opening.
Instead of a rectangular basic shape, the essay or deT vestibule can also have another suitable; z. B. round basic shape, out leads. -The described article can be made of any other suitable material in addition to metal, i.e. also from stone ware or concrete, etc.
