  Backofen. 



   Es sind Backöfen mit einem den Feuerraum frei durchsetzenden von Querwänden gestütztem Backraum bereits bekannt geworden. Die Erfindung betrifft einen solchen Backofen und besteht darin, dass die Querwände unterhalb des Backraumes durchbrochen und die zwischen dem Backraum und den seitlichen Wandungen des Feuerraumes belassenen Schlitze so eng bemessen sind, dass die Feuergase gezwungen werden, unter teilweiser Stauung unterhalb des Backraumes sich fortzubewegen und verteilt an dessen Seitenwandungen aufzusteigen. 



   Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 einen Längenschnitt, Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt des Ofens. 



   Der Backraum 1 ist in den Feuerraum 2 frei eingesetzt und wird von Querwänden 4 gestützt, die unterhalb des Backraumes Durchbrechungen 3 aufweisen. Die zwischen dem Backraum und den seitlichen Wandungen des Feuerraumes belassenen Schlitze sind so eng bemessen, dass die Feuergase gezwungen werden, unter teilweiser Stauung unterhalb des Backraumes sich fortzubewegen und verteilt an dessen Seitenwandungen in den Raum über dem Backraum aufzusteigen. Von hier aus erfolgt der Abzug der Feuergase in die Esse. 



  Die Mundöffnung 3 des Backraumes ist an der, der Feuertüre entgegengesetzten Seite des Ofens angeordnet.

   The baking chamber 1 is freely inserted into the furnace 2 and is supported by transverse walls 4 which have openings 3 below the baking chamber. The slots left between the baking chamber and the side walls of the combustion chamber are so narrow that the fire gases are forced to move, partially damming up below the baking chamber, and, distributed along the side walls, rise into the space above the baking chamber. From here the flue gases are drawn off into the forge.
