   Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Erfindungsgegenstand in Fig. 1 im Längsschnitt und in Fig. 2 in der Draufsicht. 



   Zwischen der Feuerraumdecke 1 und der ersten Feuerbrücke 2 wird eine Einschnürung   gebildet, während   hinter der ersten Feuerbrücke 2 und der zweiten Feuerbrücke 3 eine Wirbelkammer entsteht. Die in der Wirbelkammer sich mischenden Gase werden daher durch die durch die   Einschnürung   in erstere hineinschlagende   Stichflamme   wirksam verbrannt. Hohlroststäbe 4 führen Zusatzluft von vorn über den Brennstoff. Dabei tritt die Luft in bekannter Weise von hinten in die Roststäbe ein und wird von da aus in den Gesamtkanal 5 geleitet, von wo aus sie erst nach oben in die Feuerung dringen kann. 



   Eine Klappe 6 mit Beschwerungsgewicht schliesst den Kanal 5 selbständig ab und dient   zum   Entnehmen der sich darin absetzenden Achse.
