Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Anti haftmittel zur Verhinderung des Festsetzens von Schweißsprit-zem beim Lichtbogen-Schweißen.
Derartige Antihaftmittel werden benutzt, um ein Anhaften von Schweißspritzem an der Oberfläche des geschweißten Werkstücks zu verhindern und ein leichtes Abreinigen der Schweißspritzer zu ermöglichen. 5 Unabhängig von der negativen Optik stören Schweißspritzer bei nachfolgenden Oberflächenbehandlungen, wie z.B. Lackieren, Pulverbeschichten, galvanische Beschichtungen oder Emaillierungen, und können zu Beschichtungsfehlern und zum Abplatzen der Beschichtung führen. Darüberhinaus kann mit einem solchen Antihaftmittel das Zusetzen der Schutzgasdüse einer Schweißpistole oder eines Schweißautomaten verhindert werden. io Als Antihaftmittel oder Trennmittel gegen Schweißspritzer wurden früher vor allem Lösungen von Mineralfetten und Mineralölen, wie Vaseline, und mineralischen Selektivfaffinaten in organischen Lösungsmitteln verwendet. Nach dem Verdunsten des organischen Lösungsmittel bildet sich ein Mineralfettfilm, der das Festsetzen der Schweißspritzer auf dem Werkstück oder in der Schutzgasdüse verhindert.
Da organische Lösungsmittel gesundheitsgefährdend und umweltschädigend sind, ist man inzwischen r5 dazu übergegangen, wäßrige Öl-Emulsionen als Antihaftmittel gegen Schweißspritzer einzusetzen. Dabei ist es jedoch nicht zu vermeiden, daß auch nach dem Verdunsten des Wassers in dem zurückbleibenden Ölfilm eine gewisse Restfeuchtigkeit zurückbleibt, die zur Porenbildung in der Schweißnaht führen kann. Insbesondere bei der Behandlung von gasführenden Teilen an Schutzschweißbrennern (Gasdüse, Stromdüse etc.) führt die verbleibende Restfeuchtigkeit der bekannten wäßrigen Emulsion zu Fehlern in der 20 Gasabdeckung und damit zur Porenbildung.
Auch sind bereits Mittel zur Verhinderung des Festsetzens von Schweißspritzern bekannt, die Pflanzenöl enthalten (JP 63-93497 A; JP 57008275 A und JP 55114496 A). Das Mittel nach JP 63-93497 A kann 1 bis 30% Planzenöl, zusammen mit einem synthetischen Fettsäureester enthalten, sowie Wachs und Wasser; das Mittel nach JP 57008275 A 20 bis 40% Fettsäure in Pflanzenöl. 25 Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, ein umweltfreundliches, wirksames, die Schweißverbindung nicht beeinträchtigendes und dennoch kostengünstiges Antihaftmittel gegen Schweißspritzer zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Dies wird erfindungsgemäß mit dem im Anspruch 1 gekennzeichneten Antihaftmittel erreicht. In den Unteransprüchen sind vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung wiedergegeben. 30 Erfindungsgemäß besteht das Antihaftmittel oder Trennmittel also aus einem Öl aus dem Glycerinester ungesättigter unverzweigter Fettsäuren mit 18, 20 oder 22 C-Atomen, welches in einem Lösungsmittel gelöst ist, das durch einen Methyl- oder Ethylester von ungesättigten unverzweigten Fettsäuren mit 18, 20 oder 22 C-Atomen gebildet wird.
Der Methylester wird dabei bevorzugt, da er rascher verdunstet als der Ethylester. Nach dem 35 Verdunsten des Lösungsmittels bleibt ein Film aus dem Glycerinester-Öl auf dem Werkstück oder in der Schutzgasdüse des Schweißbrenners zurück, welcher verhindert, daß sich Schweißspritzer auf dem Werkstück bzw. ind der Schutzgasdüse festsetzen.
Das erfindungsgemäße Antihaftmittel kann zum Einen ohne Wasser als Konzentrat eingesetzt werden, beispielsweise durch Benetzen von Gasdüse und Stromdüse des Schutzgasschweißbrenners, ohne daß 40 durch Restfeuchte Poren in der Schweißverbindung gebildet werden. Zum Anderen ist es auch möglich, Emulsionen mit einem Mischungsverhältnis von 1 Volumenteil wasserfreies Antihaftmittel und bis zu 5 Volumenteile Wasser herzustellen und damit Werkstücke zu benetzen, ohne daß eine Porenbildung auftritt.
Wie sich gezeigt hat, wird mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Haftmittel ein Festsetzen von Schweißspritzern wirksam verhindert. Beispielsweise sind Werkstücke, die mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Antihaftmittel behan-45 delt worden sind, nach dem Schweißen emailiert oder mit einem galvanischen Überzug versehen worden, ohne daß an der Emaillierung oder dem Überzug auch nach rauher Behandlung abgeplatzte oder andere Fehlstellen festgestellt werden konnten, die auf Schweißspritzer oder Antihaftmittelrückständezurückzufüh-ren sind.
Die hauptkomponente des erfindungsgemäßen Antihaftmittels bilden Glycerinester sowie Methyl- oder so Ethylester von ungesättigten unverzweigten Fettsäuren mit 18, 20 oder 22 C-Atomen. Diese Ester bilden wenigstens 70, vorzugsweise wenigstens 80 Gew. - % der Öl-Komponente des erfindungsgemäßen Haftmittels. Daneben können Glycerinester und Methyl- oder Ethylester anderer unverzweigter Fettsäuren, beispielsweise von Palmitin-, Icosen-, Docosadien- oder Hexadecen-Säure vorliegen.
Die Ester aller dieser Fettsäuren sind biologisch leicht abbaubar und damit ausgesprochen umwelt-55 freundlich. Darüberhinaus sind sie gesundheitlich unbedenklich. Ein für das erfindungsgemäße Anti haftmittel besonders geeignetes, kostengünstiges Öl stellt Rapsöl oder Rüböl dar. Rapsöl ist ein Triglycerid, das im allgemeinen einen sehr hohen Gehalt an Erucasäure als ungesättigter C-22-Fettsäure sowie Öl-, Linol- und Linolsäure als ungesättigte c-18-Fettsäuren enthält. z.B. beträgt der Erucasäuregehalt von Rapsöl 40 bis 2

- AT 402 268 B 60, im allgemeinen ca. 48 Gew. -%, der Ölsäuregehalt 10 bis 30, im allgemeinen ca. 15 Gew. -%, der Linolsäuregehalt 10 bis 20, im allgemeinen ca. 13 Gew. -% und der Linolsäuregehalt 5 bis 15, im allgemeinen ca. 8 Gew. -%, und der Gehalt der übrigen Fettsäuren, nämlich Icosensäure, Palmitinsäure, Hexadecensäure und Docosadiensäure zusammen weniger als 15 Gew. -%. Der Fettsäure-Methyl- oder Ethylester des erfindungsgemäßen Antihaftmittels ist ebenfalls vorzugsweise ein durch Umestern von Rapsöl erhaltenes Gemisch aus den Methylestern bzw. Ethylestern von Erucasäure, Ölsäure usw. mit den oben angegebenen Mengenverhältnissen. Das erfindungsgemäße Antihaftmittel kann neben Fettsäure-Triglyceriden und den Fettsäure-Methyloder Ethylestern noch andere Stoffe in geringen Mengen enthalten, z.B. bis zu 2 Gew. -% Ruß. Nach dem Schweißen muß der Ölfilm entfernt werden. Es hat sich nun als sehr vorteilhaft erwiesen, dem erfindungsgemäßen Antihaftmittel einen Emulgator zuzusetzen, und zwar vorzugsweise einen Glykolester in einer Menge von 1 bis 5, insbesondere 5 bis 12 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gewicht des Antihaftmittels. Als besonders geeignet hat sich als Emulgator Dowanol 25-3 erwiesen. Durch den Emulgator kann der Ölfilm von dem Werkstück leicht mit kaltem Wasser abgewaschen und damit umweltfreundlich entfernt werden. Neben der Reinigungswirksamkeit des Emulgators wird durch den Emulgator auch die Benetzung der zu behandelnden Teile positiv beeinflußt. Ein weiteres Merkmal ist, daß durch den Emulgatoranteil auch die Möglichkeit zur Bildung stabiler wäßriger Emulsionen gegeben ist, und damit eine noch wirtschaftlichere Dünnschichtauftragung auf belüfteten Werkstücken möglich ist. Patentansprüche 1. Antihaftmittel zur Verhinderung des Festsetzens von Schweißspritzem aus einer Lösung aus 5 bis 50 Gew. -% eines Öls aus den Glycerinester wenigstens einer ungesättigten Fettsäure mit 18, 20 oder 22 C-Atomen in einem Fettsäureester, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Fettsäureester ein Methyloder Ethylester wenigstens einer ungesättigten unverzweigten Fettsäure mit 18, 20 oder 22 C-Atomen ist.
- 2. Antihaftmittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Gehalt des Öls in der Lösung 10 bis 25 Gew. -% beträgt.
- 3. Antihaftmittel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fettsäure Erucasäure, Ölsäure, Linolsäure und/oder Linolsäure ist.
- 4. Antihaftmittel nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Öl Rapsöl und der Methyl- oder Ethylester Rapsöl-Methyl- oder Ethylester ist.
- 5. Antihaftmittel nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Lösung 1-15 Gew. -% eines Emulgators enthält.
- 6. Antihaftmittel nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Emulgator ein Glykolester ist.
- 7. Antihaftmittel nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es mit Wasser emulgiert ist.
- 8. Antihaftmittel nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die wäßrige Emulsion aus 1 bis 5 Volumenteilen Wasser pro Volumenteil Antihaftmittel besteht. 3
