Kerzenlampe.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrische Kerzenlampe, also eine Lampe in der Form einer Kerzenflamme und ist eine Verbesserung der im österr. Patent Nr. 144870 beschriebenen Lampe. Im Stammpatent ist eine Lampe beschrieben, welche die Form einer Kerzenflamme hat, mit Kryptongas von mindestens 200 mm Quecksilbersäule Partialdruck gefüllt ist und einen Kolben aus Opalglas hat.
Es ist aus diesem Patent auch bekanntgeworden, solche Lampen mit Kolben aus Überfangglas herzustellen.
Es hat sich gezeigt, dass, wenn man zwecks Verkleinerung der Lichtabsorption ein Opalglas mit weniger Trübungsmittel verwendet, oder bei Verwendung eines Kolbens aus Überfangglas eine dünnere Emailsehieht anbringt, das Bild des Glühkörpers sichtbar wird.
Zweck vorliegender Erfindung ist, diesen Übelstand möglichst zu vermeiden, u. zw. derart, dass solche Kolben auf ihrer Innenseite in an und für sich bekannter Weise mattiert werden. Die Lichtabsorption einer solchen Innenmattierung ist verhältnismässig gering, wobei die Mattierung doch die Wirkung hat, das Bild des Glühkörpers zu zerstreuen. Auf diese Weise bekommt die Lampe das Aussehen einer Kerzenlampe mit Opalglas, wobei die Lichtabsorption kleiner bleibt, als bei Verwendung eines solchen Opalglases, welches die Zerstreuung des Bildes des Glühkörpers allein gewährleisten würde.

Candle lamp.
The invention relates to an electric candle lamp, that is to say a lamp in the shape of a candle flame, and is an improvement on the lamp described in Austrian Patent No. 144870. The parent patent describes a lamp which has the shape of a candle flame, is filled with krypton gas with a partial pressure of at least 200 mm of mercury and has a bulb made of opal glass.
It has also become known from this patent to produce such lamps with bulbs from clad glass.
It has been shown that if an opal glass with less opacifier is used in order to reduce the light absorption, or if a thinner enamel layer is attached when using a bulb made of clad glass, the image of the incandescent body becomes visible.
The purpose of the present invention is to avoid this drawback as much as possible, u. zw. Such that such pistons are matted on their inside in a manner known per se. The light absorption of such an interior frosting is comparatively low, but the matting has the effect of scattering the image of the incandescent body. In this way, the lamp has the appearance of a candle lamp with opal glass, the light absorption remaining smaller than when using such an opal glass, which alone would ensure the diffusion of the image of the incandescent body.
