    Entleerungsvol'ichtung   für das Saugrohr von Pumpen. 



   Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem kleinen, vollständig geschlossenen Gefässe a, welches in seinem Innern eine Ventilklappe v enthält, über welcher ein kurzes Rohrstück r bis knapp unter die obere Decke des Gefässes reicht. Unterhalb der Ventilklappe befindet sich das Einlaufrohr e, welches angeschlossen wird an das Saugrohr unterhalb des Brunnenbelages (durch Einschalten eines   T-Stückes,   Fig. 2). Das Gehäuse besitzt weiters eine   Auslassöffnung   0, welche vermittels eines kleinen Hähnchens h verschliessbar ist. 



   Wird nun die Pumpe, deren Saugventil auf irgendeine Weise gehoben wird (Fig. 2), entleert und nun das Hähnchen h an der oben beschriebenen Entleerungsvorrichtung geöffnet, so wird das im Saugrohre oberhalb des T-Stückes befindliche Wasser durch die Ventilklappe v und das   Hähnehen     abfliessen.   Die Anlage ist dadurch gegen Beschädigung durch Frost geschützt. Es bleibt über der Ventilklappe v in dem Rohrstück 'Wasser stehen, so dass, wenn die Pumpe wieder in Tätigkeit gesetzt wird, Luft in das Saugrohr nicht eindringen kann, auch wenn das   Hähnchen   h nicht wieder geschlossen wird. 



   Man vermeidet sonst, im Saugrohre direkt einen Ablasshahn einzuschalten, weil der Hahn nicht absolut luftdicht schliesst und somit das Ansaugen erschwert oder überhaupt unmöglich macht. Die vorliegende Entleerungsvorrichtung jedoch wird absolut luftdicht schliessen, weil beim Ansaugen die Ventilklappe nur noch dichter auf ihren Sitz gepresst wird. 



   Man kann aber auch an Stelle des Hähnchens ein Rohrstück von ganz geringem Durchmesser anschliessen und dasselbe bis unter den Wasserspiegel im Brunnen führen, wodurch ein Eindringen von Luft in das   SaugTohr,   auch wenn die Ventilklappe L'undicht ist, vollkommen verhindert wird.

Water remains above the valve flap v in the pipe section, so that when the pump is activated again, air cannot penetrate into the suction pipe, even if the chicken h is not closed again.
