Description
Schlammabscheider für Dampfkessel. Er besteht aus einem an dem Dampfraum und an der tiefsten Stelle des Kessels angeschlossenen Ablaßbehälter, in welchem zwischen den Eintrittsöffnungen der Dampfleitung und der Schlamtnablaßleitung eine siebartige Zwischenwand eingesetzt ist. Hierdurch werden Erschütterungen des Kessels und des Ablaßbehälters vermieden. Denn beim übertritt des Schlammwassers vom Kessel in den Behälter wird durch die eingebaute Siebwand ein stoßfreies Füllen des Behälters mit Wasser erreicht, wenn auch. das Schlammablaßorgan am Kessel ganz geöffnet ist.Dirt separator for steam boilers. Außerdem ist das Gefäß mit ,einem Wasserstand 12 und einem Lufteinlaßorgan 13 versehen. Die Ventile 6 und 9 sind durch ein Zugorgan i q. derart zwangläufig miteinander verbunden, daß zuerst das Ventil 9 und dann erst das Ventil 6 sich öffnet, damit nicht das Schlammwasser, sondern Dampf zuerst das Gefäß unter Druck setzt, wodurch Wassersdhläge vermieden werden. Sobald die beiden Ventile g und 6 nacheinander geöffnet sind, findet im Gefäß 3 der Druckau,s..gleich statt, und das Schlammwasser aus dem Kessel fließt langsam in das Gefäß, aus dem es nach dem Schließen der Ventile 6, 9 durch Öffnen des Ventils ¢ ohne Belastung durch den Dampfdruck abgelassen werden kann, zu welchem Zweck das Belüftungsventil 13 geöffnet wird.
