Feedback device for low pressure steam boilers. The invention relates
focus on recovery devices for low-pressure steam boilers, in which the condensate
is collected in a pit. It is known through a regenerative device
With a steam valve controlled by a float, the condensate is removed by steam condensation
to be sucked in from the pit in the float vessel and then under the pressure of the boiler steam
to feed into the cauldron. In the known feedback devices, the connecting pipe branches off
after the boiler down, so that the float tank empties when it is shut down
and the steam inlet is closed. The purpose of the invention is to avoid this.
It is achieved by engaging an upward knee in the boiler feed pipe.
Rohr i ausgestoßen wird.
The feedback device shown in the drawing is operated from the low-pressure steam boiler. The steam line e with the line m is connected to the boiler at the height of the boiler water level and, on the other hand, connected to the feedback device. When the device is started up for the first time, valve n is opened, whereupon steam flows into room o. The steam displaces the existing air and passes through the pipe socket P, check valve h and finally through lines d and i to the outside. If steam flows out of line i, valve n must be closed. The steam still contained in the vessel o gives off its heat through the walls of the vessel, the steam becomes condensate, and thus an air void arises in the room o. From now on, the actual continuous operation of the feedback device begins. The accumulated condensate in the pit q is sucked in by the negative pressure in room o through line c with check valve g. The steam pressure resting on the valve f is finally overcome by the buoyancy of the float b, the valve f opens, and the steam exits from the line e through valve f into the chamber o, pushing the condensate through the connection check valve h, further through the loop of the line d, dx zii the boiler again until the Schwifmner has sunk so far that he closes the valve f again. Instead of the existing water in space a, there is now steam, which is still trying to expand, with the still existing or newly accumulated air being expelled through pipe i. The expulsion of the air from the room o with every game is very important, because the constant formation of negative pressure in the room o over time would cause air to accumulate, which would cause the device to come to a standstill. The remaining vapor in o then condenses, creating an air void, and the further course is the same as already explained.
befindlichen Luftleitung i dient dazu, daß beim Stillstehen bzw.
in Betrieb.
The upwardly directed pipe bend in the line d with the air line i located thereon is used to ensure that the water drawn in remains in the vessel a when the heater is stopped or switched off, and consequently the float b keeps the valve f open. When the heating system is restarted, the steam from the boiler can immediately enter room o. He thus puts the feed device into operation. It is then not necessary to operate valve n in the secondary line. This valve n only comes into question when there is no water in the vessel a. This can happen when the device is put into operation for the first time after installation or at the beginning of a new heating season.
