Abstract

Se proporcionan un tubo de acero inoxidable y un método para fabricar el tubo de acero. El tubo de acero inoxidable de acuerdo con la presente invención tiene una composición química que contiene, en % en masa, C: 0,05% o menos, Si: 1,0% o menos, Mn: entre 0,10% y 2,0%, P: 0,05% o menos, S: menos de 0,005%, Cr: mayor a 16,0% y hasta 20,0%, Mo: mayor a 0,6% y menor a 1,4%, Ni: entre 3,0% y menor a 5,0%, Al: entre 0,001% y 0,10%, N: entre 0,010% y 0,100%, O: 0,01% o menos, Cu: entre 0,3% y 3,5%, y un resto de Fe e impurezas incidentales, en el que las relaciones predeterminadas se satisfacen con Cr, Ni, Mo, W, Cu y C, una microestructura que incluye, en términos de fracción en volumen, 45% o más de una fase martensítica revenida, entre el 20% y el 40% de una fase de ferrita y entre el 5% y el 25% de una fase austenítica retenida, un límite elástico de 758 MPa o superior y una energía absorbida a una temperatura de -10ºC vE₋₁₀ de 40 J o más.
