Abstract
Se describe un método para la detección de un anticuerpo lgM específico para un flavivirus en una muestra, que comprende los siguientes pasos (a) poner en contacto la muestra con un soporte sólido que comprende moléculas de unión a lgM inmovilizada, (b) permitir la unión de los anticuerpos lgM en la muestra a las moléculas de unión a lgM en el soporte sólido para que los anticuerpos lgM también se inmovilicen en el soporte sólido, y (c) detectar los anticuerpos IgM específicos para un flavivirus al permitir la unión de un complejo que comprende (i) un dímero antiparalelo de Proteína E soluble (sE) de flavivirus y (ii) un marcador e identificar la unión del complejo al anticuerpo lgM específico del flavivirus mediante la detección del marcador; y un kit adecuado para llevar a cabo el método.
