Abstract

En el procedimiento de la misma se obtienen granos de maíz recubiertos a base de lecitina de girasol y productos aditivos. Según las mejoras, los aditivos y la lecitina de girasol pueden incorporarse tanto en estado líquido como en estado sólido, combinadamente y ser sometidos a un mezclado y a un posterior filtrado antes de alcanzar una mezcladora final a la que se incorporan no solamente los aditivos y lecitina de girasol, en cualquiera de los estados, sino los propios granos de maíz para obtener un recubrimiento de estos, en el seno de dicha mezcladora. Las mejoras también prevén la sustitución de la lecitina de girasol por otros compuestos con los que se obtienen resultados similares, como jarabe de fructosa, glucosa líquida, jarabe de maíz, melaza, jarabe de azúcar invertido o almidón de maíz, pudiendo los granos obtenidos someterse a más de un recubrimiento de distinta naturaleza.
