Abstract
La presente también se refiere a un procedimiento de síntesis de un compuesto de fórmula (1), o de una de sus sales, donde R representa un grupo COOH, CH₂OH o CHO, que comprende la etapa de acuerdo con la cual se somete el but-3-en-1,2-diol (BDO) a una oxidación en presencia de un catalizador, y dicho catalizador comprende una fase activa a base de, al menos, un metal noble elegido entre el paladio, el oro, la plata, el platino, el rodio, el osmio, el rutenio y el iridio, y un soporte que contiene sitios básicos. También se refiere a la aplicación de esta reacción para la preparación de compuestos biodisponibles de metionina utilizados, especialmente, en nutrición animal.
