Abstract

La presente se refiere a un método para producir tubos costuras laminados en caliente (1) a partir de acero transformable, en particular para tuberías para aplicaciones en aguas profundas, en el cual, después de completarse la laminación de los tubos (1), los extremos del tubo (3) son encabezados en caliente para obtener un engrosamiento de la pared. Con el fin de producir tubos con excelentes propiedades de fatiga, corrosión y soldadura, se propone que por medio del proceso de encabezamiento en caliente, se establezca una relación preseleccionada entre un espesor de pared del extremo del tubo (3) y un espesor de pared de un cuerpo del tubo (2) contiguo al extremo del tubo (3), que, después de un tratamiento de revenido homogéneo de todo el tubo (1) luego del proceso de encabezamiento en caliente por medio de una velocidad de enfriamiento previamente determinada dependiente del espesor de pared durante el tratamiento de revenido, se obtiene un tubo (1) con un extremo del tubo (3) que tiene un nivel más bajo de resistencia que el cuerpo del tubo (2).
