Abstract
trata-se de um método para têmpera e um aparelho para têmpera capaz de produzir tubos de aço que têm qualidade excelente e uniforme por meio de um procedimento simples em que um tubo de aço é resfriado uniforme e rapidamente na direção longitudinal e na direção circunferencial. o movimento nas direções paralelas e nas direções perpendiculares a um eixo de tubo do tubo de aço aquecido é parado e, enquanto se gira o tubo de aço em torno do eixo de tubo, a superfície externa do tubo de aço é pulverizada com água resfriada a partir de pelo menos quatro bocais de pulverização dispostos em um formato helicoidal no exterior do tubo de aço.
