Abstract
Se provee una línea de equipos para fabricar un tubo de acero sin costura y un método para la fabricación de un tubo de acero inoxidable de alta resistencia, de paredes gruesas y sin costura para pozos petrolíferos, que tiene una excelente robustez a bajas temperaturas, el cual emplea la línea de equipos. En la línea de equipos en la que están dispuestos un dispositivo de calentamiento, un dispositivo de perforación y un laminador, se incorpora, además, un sistema de enfriamiento entre el dispositivo de calentamiento y el dispositivo de perforación o entre el dispositivo de perforación y el laminador. Puede agregarse un termostato a la salida del laminador. Usando la línea de equipos, un acero caliente -con la composición química del acero inoxidable o un tubo de acero hueco formado al perforar el acero caliente- se refrigera mediante enfriamiento acelerado, a una temperatura de detención del enfriamiento de 600ºC o superior, a una velocidad de enfriamiento promedio de 1,0ºC/s o más, permitiendo de esta manera que el tubo de acero hueco tenga una distribución de fases en un estado de no equilibrio e, inmediatamente después, el tubo de acero hueco se transforma en un tubo sin costura, que tiene un tamaño predeterminado. En consecuencia, la microestructura se torna extremadamente fina, aun cuando la cantidad de maquinado en caliente sea pequeña, de modo que el tubo de acero de paredes gruesas pueda garantizar una excelente robustez a bajas temperaturas, incluso en la porción central del grosor de las paredes, por lo que es posible fabricar fácilmente y a bajo costo un tubo de acero inoxidable de alta resistencia, de paredes gruesas y sin costura, que tenga una excelente robustez a bajas temperaturas.
