Abstract

Un secante para secar al aire una composición de resina auto-oxidable, dicho secante comprendiendo: 1,4,7-trialquilo-1,4,7-triazaciclononano (L); una sal de manganeso con la formula general Mn²⁺[X]ₙ, en donde el anión X es seleccionado de PF₆⁻, SbF₆⁻, AsF₆⁻, BF₄⁻, B(C₆F₅)₄⁻, Cl⁻, Br⁻, I⁻, NO₃, o R²COO⁻ siendo n = 2; o el anión X es SO₄²⁻ siendo n = 1; y en donde R² es alquilo C₁₋₂₀ opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos, arilo C₆₋₂₀ opcionalmente sustituido por heteroátomos, o un residuo polimérico; y en donde el 1,4,7-trialquilo-1,4,7-triazaciclononano (L) se encuentra presente en la mezcla en una cantidad tal que la proporción molar Mn:L es al menos 1.25:1 y preferentemente al menos 1.5:1.
