Abstract

La presente se refiere a un método para el templado en seco de coque por medio de vapor con posterior uso del gas de síntesis generado, dicho método incluye la coquización cíclica de carbón al coque enviando un dispositivo de templado después de descargarlo del horno de coque y el vapor se introduce en el dispositivo de templado para el templado en seco, creando así gas de síntesis compuesto de monóxido de carbono (CO) y hidrógeno (H₂) por medio de una reacción de agua-gas y el gas de síntesis producido se incorpora para una aplicación posterior. Este método permite usar el calor generado durante la coquización para la producción de gas de síntesis útil que, a su vez, se puede usar para un fin posterior o en el proceso de calentamiento, logrando así en total un equilibrio de calor extremadamente uniforme a lo largo de todo el proceso.
