Abstract
Las secuencias sintéticas reivindicadas utilizan codones optimizados para plantas básicamente en la misma frecuencia a la cual se utilizan, en promedio, en genes de presentación natural en la especie de planta. La solicitud incluye además secuencia de ADN sintético para tolerancia a herbicidas, tolerancia al estrés por falta de agua y/o debido al calor, modificaciones de aceites sanos y para la transformación se utilizan genes marcadores y genes marcadores seleccionables. Se describen la construcción de ADN y plantas transgénicas que contienen las secuencias sintéticas así como también los métodos y composiciones para el uso de las plantas en agricultura.Reivindicación 1: Una secuencia de ADN sintética para expresar una proteína nativa de interés en células de maíz que comprende: a) una secuencia de ADN codón-optimizada que codifica la proteína nativa de interés, b) por lo menos una secuencia de señal de poliadenilación seleccionada del grupo que consiste en la Clase I y la Clase II donde; la clase I se selecciona del grupo que consiste en AATAAA, AATAAT, AACCAA, ATATAA, AATCAA, ATACTA, ATAAAA, ATGAAA, AAGCAT, ATTAAT, ATACAT, AAAATA, ATTAAA, AATTAA, AATACA, y CATAAA; y la clase II se selecciona del grupo que consiste en ATATAT, TTGTTT, TTTTGT, TGTTTT, TATATA, TATTTT, TTTTTT, ATTTTT, TTATTT, TTTATT, TAATAA, ATTTAT, TATATT, TTTTAT, ATATTT, TATTAT, TGTTTG, TTATAT, TGTAAT, y AAATAA; y donde dicha secuencia de ADN nativa contiene por lo menos una secuencia de señal de poliadenilación de la Clase II y donde dicha secuencia de ADN sintética contiene menos cantidad de secuencias de señal de poliadenilación de Clase II que la secuencia de ADN nativa de la proteína nativa y contiene la misma cantidad de secuencias de señal de poliadenilación de clase I en comparación con dicha secuencia de ADN nativa.
