Abstract
Un germoplasma de canola confiere a una semilla de canola los rasgos de un alto contenido proteico y un bajo contenido de fibras, en donde la planta de canola produce una semilla que tiene, en promedio, al menos 68% de ácido oleico (C18:1) y menos del 3% de ácido linolénico (C18:3) Los rasgos de semilla de canola también pueden incluir al menos el 45% de proteína cruda y no más del 18% de contenido de fibras sobre una base de materia seca libre de aceites.
