Abstract

Se proporciona un envase de vida útil extendida que comprende un material para la ingestión de un mamífero que se degrada mediante a oxidación, que comprende un capturador de oxígeno que comprende un capturador de oxígeno de metal de transición, un contenedor considerablemente impermeable al oxígeno, en donde el contenedor posee un filtro suspendido en el contenedor, el filtro sostiene el material para la ingestión del mamífero, y el contenedor también sostiene al capturador del oxígeno. En otra realización, se proporciona un envase de vida útil extendida que comprende un material que se puede ingerir por un ser humano que se degrada emitiendo CO₂ que comprende un capturador de dióxido de carbono, un contenedor considerablemente impermeable al dióxido de carbono, en donde el contenedor posee un filtro suspendido en el contenedor, el filtro sostiene el material que se puede ingerir por el mamífero, y el contenedor también sostiene al capturador del dióxido de carbono.
