Abstract
El objeto de la presente solicitud es proveer un aparato para el ensayo por ultrasonido de la porción terminal de una cañería, el cual permite un ensayo por ultrasonido preciso mediante la interposición estable de un medio de acoplamiento entre la porción terminal de la cañería y una sonda ultrasónica. El aparato para el ensayo por ultrasonido 100 comprende: una sonda ultrasónica 1 dispuesta bajo la porción terminal de una cañería P colocada en la dirección horizontal, para enfrentar a la porción terminal de la cañería, en donde la sonda ultrasónica 1 transmite ondas ultrasónicas a la porción terminal de la cañería y recibe las ondas ultrasónicas de la misma; y un porta sonda 2 alojando a la sonda ultrasónica, la cual está dispuesta bajo la porción terminal de la cañería, para enfrentar a la porción terminal de la cañería y seguir a la cañería rotando en la dirección circunferencial. La carcasa de la sonda comprende una parte de reservorio para medio de acoplamiento, la cual rodea un espacio entre la sonda ultrasónica y la porción terminal de la cañería, para contener un medio de acoplamiento W en ella. La parte de reservorio para medio de acoplamiento comprende: un cuerpo de parte de reservorio para medio de acoplamiento 21, en el cual el medio de acoplamiento es suministrado; una parte de fuelle anular 22, la cual está sujeta al lado superior del cuerpo de la parte de reservorio para el medio de acoplamiento, de manera de que se comunique internamente con el cuerpo de la parte de reservorio para el medio de acoplamiento, y que puede expandirse y contraerse de manera vertical; y un espaciador anular 23, el cual está sujeto al lado superior de la parte de fuelle y en donde, al menos, la superficie superior del espaciador anular es una superficie horizontal y plana.
